Join me for an exciting update on where I am right now!
I graduated from Vancouver Island University back in June, meaning I have officially earned my Bachelor of Visual Arts! WHOO!
Now that I am done with classes, I am launching my artistic career! I am still working part-time with the Cowichan Valley Arts Council, as well as taking an online course at UVIC, so my art isn't quite full-time yet...
I have soft-launched my online shop, where you can buy my art! I currently have limited stock and options available. Currently, you can buy art cards with scanned images from my Project 48 series. There are 6 designs available at the moment, keep an eye out for my next run of cards featuring more designs!
During the fall season, I am also hosting a fundraiser for Raincost Dog Rescue. You can purchase a handmade gouache painting commission of a pet, either as a gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself, and a portion of the sale will be donated to the amazing organization, Raincoast Dog Rescue. You can book your commission now by emailing me, DM'ing me on my social media accounts, or purchasing it through my new online shop!
I also tested the waters of art sales. I participated in the Old Farmer's Artisan Market at the beginning of September. It was interesting trying out physical art sales, as my only other experience with them was through VIU and their seasonal art sales. I really enjoyed it despite being rained on (literally) and having to depart early. I will consider signing up for more sales in the future, so follow my social media accounts to stay updated.
Anyhoo, that's a bit of an update on where I am right now! Thank you for reading this far. I hope you had a great summer. Remember to stay funky, and stay inspired!
